Beauty and brains combine to make this thick and curvy blonde bombshell from Germany a marvelous and unique use of the detailed driftwood finish favored by Benjamin.  Refinished smooth at the shank's face and rim, the distressed look of weathered age is a fine touch and well executed here, including a reinforcement of brass inlaid to protect the mortise.  Over time as this pipe is smoked, the darkening will serve to work with the finish creating an even more dynamic scheme.  Light enough to clench, this bent has a smooth draw and a draft hole right at the bottom for getting the last of the leaf sweetly turned to ash.
