Healthy Hair Shampoo & Conditioner Duo

Our quat-free shampoo and conditioner leave hair noticeably cleaner, lighter and shinier. Unlike traditional formulas, ours don't have the thick, viscous texture created by quaternary amines—sticky molecules that coat each strand, thicken the formula and end up in our water supply. The shampoo has more of a liquid texture, while the conditioner's texture emulsifies when you add water. Quat Detox Explained
When you stop using products with quaternary amines (quats),your hair gradually releases the buildup these ingredients can leave behind. Over several washes, hair adjusts and returns to its natural behavior.

Washes 1–5
You may notice less lather at first as quat buildup begins to breakdown and rinse away. This phase can move faster with double cleansing or a clarifying shampoo.

Washes 6–10
Hair begins adjusting to life without quats. It may feel lighter, dry faster, and move more naturally. This is also a great time to experiment with using conditioner as a leave-in.

Washes 11–14
Your hair is fully reset. Lather returns to normal—often even on the first cleanse. Hair no longer feels coated or weighed down, which can happen with quat-heavy formulas.

After the Reset
