The Ingrid bra is among the very favorite for a lot of women. They love the great support without needing to use wires, and also love the option for a front closure, which is especially wonderful when you have a hard time getting your arms behind your back. This kit features a variety of base fabrics, including a delightful cotton lycra print, our yummy bamboo jersey and our super supportive Microduoplex. It includes all the materials and elastics you'll need.

We have found that you will have the most success getting lovely knit fabric to lay well when you put a layer of cut and sew foam under the knit on the cups. It doesn't add volume, it just makes the fabric easier to sew without wrinkles. There is an option to add the foam if you prefer, or you can use Sheer Cup Lining alone, which is how the kit comes. The foam can be used with the Microduoplex, but it isn't necessary. There are also 3 additional options. You can have a nice, wide 1 1/4" or 2" lower band for a more longline look, you can add lace to your kit (you need stretch lace for an overlay, and you can use a tulle lace for the cup portion only) and you can add hook and eye tape for a front closure.
